BMW Motorrad Officially Launched In India

“The long wait is over Petrol Heads”, BMW Motorrad has officially announced their start of business in India from 10th of April 2017. The official press release of the brand came out yesterday with the listing of all available models along with their pricing. The price range starts from INR 14.9 lakhs and it extends up to INR 28.5 lakhs. All the motorcycles will be sold as CBU in India, except for the upcoming BMW G310R. And the German makers are planning to open the dealerships in Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad and Bengaluru in 2017 itself.



The listing starts from the cheapest model R 1200R Standard to the most expensive model K 1200 GTL Pro with a pricing of Rs 28.5 lakhs. It also includes some of the iconic models like R Nine T Scrambler, R 1200 GS and legendary S 1000 RR superbike. With the unveiling of their pricing, Motorrad features some of the most affordable litre-class premium bikes of the country.



It has been a brilliant move from the brand to officially launch their dealerships, before unveiling the BMW G 310R in India. The long waited, TVS made, BMW motorcycle will then become the cheapest Motorrad ever made, with an expected price range of Rs 2 to 2.5 lakhs. This street fighter has been manufactured at the TVS facility in Hosur, Tamil Nadu and is already available in some European markets. The automobile passionates of the country has been waiting for more than one year for the official launch of BMW G310R in India. May be the right time is just nearing, as the company too has been waiting for setting a proper channel for selling their upcoming model.
