Made to be the best in the liter superbike class. It seems that BMW has almost done what they wanted. Featuring four modes, two for the road and two others for Race and Slick, the S 1000 RR is way ahead its rivals. Along with it, aluminium bridge, radial brakes, sporty tail-up nose-down design, hot colours and the ultimate combination of electronic rider assistance systems ornaments the sportiness in the machine. The liter class king comes with a 999cc, 4-cylinder 4-stroke in-line heart which is capable to smoke a top power of 142 kW (193 bhp) at 13.000 rpm and a top torque of 112 Nm at 9.750 rpm. Meanwhile, the machine has ABS as standard.
The all new 2015 BMW S 1000RR comes with a pretty stunning face lift design. The twin head lamp has been changed and re positioned. Design and styling of the new version has undergone a total changeover from the front till the rear section. BMW S 1000RR 2015 equips a water or oil cooled 4 cylinder, 4 stroke in-line four engine with four titanium valves per cylinder. The engine is assisted with two overhead crankshafts and is capable of producing a maximum power output of 146 kW (198 hp) at 13,500 rpm and 113Nm at 10,500 rpm of torque. Transmission control system includes a multiple clutch in oil bath with a 6-speed constant mesh gearbox. A front upside down telescopic fork and a rear aluminium 2 sided swing arm compression suspension system are installed in the new version to improve rigidity and stability of the bike.

An Aluminium composite bridge forms the frame and is partially self-supporting the engine. The suspension setup of this bike comes with an upside-down telescopic fork at the front and an aluminium 2 sided swing arm compression suspension system at the rear. The suspension setup of the S 1000 RR combines immense riding dynamics with good cornering ability that gives the rider an edge while moving towards race corners with utmost confidence and control.
The braking system of the bike comes with Twin disc brake, floating brake callipers, 4-piston fixed calliper, diameter 320 mm at the front and a Single disc brake, single piston floating calliper, diameter 220 mm (BMW Motorrad Race ABS) at the rear braking system. Tyres with 120/70 ZR 17 measurements comes in the front and 190/55 ZR 17 forms the rear. The overall weight of the BMW S 1000 RR comes with an overall weight of 204 kg.
