Pure motorcycle experience and sheer freedom coupled with unmistakable road presence is the R nineT. Stripped down to carry only the essentials, this BMW is an expression of personal freedom and style crafted to conquer country roads, highways and streets with a unique presence.
BMW has given countless customising possibilities to this Motorrad to make it a personalised ride. The big boxer type engine, upright riding position, compact and sculpted tank, slim and mean rear carries the passion and innovation BMW has acquired over 90 years of motorcycle construction. The heart of the R nineT has a boxer type 1170cc flat twin engine and it stands out through the sides of the motorcycle giving a powerful appeal. The engine produces a maximum power of 110 hp of power and 116 Nm torque.
The frame of this motorcycle comes with a four-section frame consisting of one front and three rear sections, load-bearing engine-gearbox unit. The suspension setup of the bike comes with an Upside-Down telescopic fork with 46 mm diameter at the front and a Cast aluminium single-sided swing arm with BMW Motorrad Paralever; central spring strut with spring pre-load hydraulically adjustable as for its rear suspension.The bike uses Dual disc brake, floating brake discs, diameter 320 mm, four-piston radial calipers at the front as its braking system and a Single disc brake, diameter 265 mm, double-piston floating caliper as the rear braking system. The top speed of this bike is 200km/h. This powerful bike stands at a total weight of 222 kg.
