Piaggio to Launch Vespa 946 Soon

Premium scooter manufacturer, Piaggio's wholly subsidiary firm, Vespa, is showcasing its thirst to pick up a good scooter market share of the Indian industry. The Italian originated brand had recently lunched the optional scooter of the Vespa LX 125, the Vespa VX, which is equipped with additional features such as a front disc brake, newly shaded meter console, beige seat, and attractive grab rail at rear. However, the new edition is even costlier than its sister.



Earlier, Vespa had temporarily cut down the pricing of the LX 125 by up to Rs. 7000. And it resulted a good growth in sales in festival days. Later, along with the launch of the VX, the firm again raised the slashed price. But this time, the company increased the price by up to Rs. 8000. That's Rs. 1000 hike than the previous pricing. Since it was silent movement by the firm no customers are bothered about it until they reach the stores of Vespa. While slashing down the price, the Italian firm had said that the company cut the price due to the new technology the firm found out to decrease the manufacturing capital and was handing over to the customers. Now everything is clear that all was the game of the company to tempt customers to the dealerships.



Well, the latest story about Vespa is that the firm is planning to launch one more scooter soon. Like we had reported earlier, it will be the Vespa 946. The 946 is even more cute than the current beauty of Indian scooter industry, the Vespa VX. It is powered by a 125cc, Single-cylinder 4-stroke engine, which is capable to deliver a max power of 11.7 hp at 8250 rpm and a max torque of 10.3 Nm torque at 7000 rpm. It has the same automatic transmission as well. A disc brake each has been installed on the each wheel of the bike. While, the tyres are tubeless.



Even if the pricing of the Vespa 946 is higher, it won't be hurting the firm. Because, it has stunning looks and is preloaded with tons of features such as Monocoque structure with welded steel and aluminium body, newly designed digital meter, body is made out of sheet steel with aluminum material, Electronic traction control ASR, Dual disc brakes, Electronic injection engine, LED headlight and indicators, and beautiful dashboard.
