Launching in the adventure tourer motorcycle segment like its brotherly version, the Tiger 800 XRx, the XCx promises a similar yet long distance ride equipments than the later. Build to push the limits of long distance adventure ride, the Tiger 800 XCx. Pushing the limits through the roughest and hardest surface of Earth, the Triumph Tiger 800 XCx is one phenomenal turn over to the company's range of motorcycle. Casting in the adventure sports touring segment of two wheeler motorcycles, the Tiger 800 XCx score high in points of Design, Styling and Control systems. The heart of the bike or the engine of the massive motorcycle is installed with an 800cc, Liquid-cooled, 12 valve, DOHC, in-line 3-cylinder engine, capable of producing a maximum power of 95PS (70KW) at the rate of 9250 RPM and an overall torque of 79NM at around 7850 RPM respectively. A six-speed manual transmission system of the motorcycle helps to rave the massive engine of the motorcycle to a next level of performance and power. Balance and stability of the motorcycle during these high performance ratio is maintained through a front WP 43mm upside down forks, adjustable rebound and compression DAMPING, 220mm travel and a rear WP monoshock with remote oil reservoir, hydraulically adjustable preload, rebound damping adjustment, 215mm rear wheel travel suspension system. Braking system of the motorcycle is assisted with a front Twin 308mm floating discs, Nissin 2-piston sliding calipers, Switchable ABS and rear Single 255mm disc, Nissin single piston sliding caliper, Switchable ABS system respectively. An overall capacity of 19 litres is made available for the fuel tank of the motorcycle helping it to maintain a pretty good fuel efficiency for the motorcycle.
Rate Triumph Tiger 800 XCx:
The Tiger XCX is a transcontinental adventure motorcycle from Triumph. The XCX is a more off-road biased version of the Tiger 800 than its XR models. The Tiger 800 XCX clearly sets the paths for serious riders and sits as a standard equipment under the more featured and well equipped XCA, which is basically the XCX with more rider-focused features. The XCX is packed with true adventure in mind and is fully equipped for long adventures and unexplored lands.
Triumph has made sure that the Xcx is full of rider focused technologies like 3 Riding Modes - Road, Off-Road, configurable Rider, Cruise control and an Advanced On-Board computer technology to make any journey a wail adventure at the same time improving the mechanical fronts like instant and responsive throttle map, ABS and Triumph Traction Control to make it a very robust motorcycle that will be a very easy to ride at same time very good at handling and manoeuvrability in any paths no matter what the roads are.
The Tiger 800 XCX has an off-road soul and much of this stance is emphasized on the various additions like handguards, aluminium sump guard, centre stand, additional power socket and engine protection bars. The inside of the Tiger 800 XCX has a very powerful 800cc Liquid-cooled, 12 valves, DOHC, in-line 3-cylinder engine that has the power to produce a maximum power of 95 PS @ 9,250 rpm and a maximum peak torque of 78 Nm @ 7,950 rpm. The big torque engine is mated to 6-speed gearbox and uses Multipoint sequential electronic fuel injection as its fuel system.
The Tiger is held by a very rigid and strong Tubular steel trellis frame, a Twin-sided, cast aluminium alloy made swing arm is also used. The suspension setup of the bike is done with WP 43 mm upside down forks, adjustable rebound and compression at the front with a travel of 220 mm while the rear suspension work is done with WP monoshock with hydraulically adjustable and has a travel of 215 mm. The braking system of the Tiger 800 is done with Twin 308 mm floating discs, Nissin 2-piston sliding calipers, while the rear brakes are done with Single 255 mm disc, Nissin single piston sliding caliper. Both the front and rear brakes are equipped with ABS for additional protection. The ABS system is switchable to make the most out of off-road fun.
Triumph is giving away the Tiger 800 XCX with a seat height of 840 - 860 mm, along with an option to choose a low seat height of a much less 790 - 810 mm for the convenience of riders of all height. The XCX has a fuel capacity of 19 L and thus allows for a good riding range. The dry weight of this adventure motorcycle is 204 kg.
