Triumph has brought the Tiger Explorer XCX to India. The new Tiger Explorer XCX is an off road version from the Explorer family and it differs from the six variants – XC, XCx, XCa, XR, XRx and XRt launched by Triumph in the international market for road usage.
The Tiger Explorer XCX signature a 1215cc triple cylinder engine that produces a healthy137 Bhp @ 9,300 rpm and a powerful linear torque of 123 Nm @ 6,200 rpm. The new Explorer is equipped with a Tubular steel trellis frame and this adventure tourer is designed to be an all terrain friendly adventure tourer with added spoked wheels and tubeless tyres.
There are three new selectable Rider modes are given to this mighty off-road machine; Road, Rain and Off-Road, and these modes are incorporated into a different setting for ABS, traction control and throttle maps, each optimised to suit the selected mode for maximum control, comfort and rider engagement.
Tiger Explorer XCX has features like Brembo monobloc 4-piston radial callipers at the front, and a single 282mm disc, 2-piston sliding calliper at the rear and has electronically adjustable screen, hand guards and heated grips.
With the pure combination of Triumph's electronically controlled semi-active suspension system (TSAS) that continuously adjusts the suspension settings and the ABS, Traction control and, Brembo monobloc 4-piston delivering the best control, comfort and riding experience on any surface, the new Tiger Explorer XCX is a sure package for touring enthusiasts.
Triumph India has commenced the launch of this multi purpose adventure tourer and deliveries will take place from next week onwards.
