Street Triple RS is a roadster and moreover, it is a sportier version of Street Triple S which was in early 2017. Both the models are powered by the same 765cc, in-line 3-cylinder engine but delivering 121.2 bhp @ 10800 rpm which is 10 more horses than the Triple S model. It has a maximum torque of 77 Nm @ 10800 rpm making it as one of the most performing roadsters in the segment. Street Triple RS features Showa 41mm USD front forks and Ohlins STX40 fully-adjustable piggyback reservoir RSU at the rear. Stopping force comes from Dual 310 mm floating discs with Brembo calipers at the front and 220 mm single disc with Brembo calipers at the rear. Switchable ABS is a standard feature in the Triple RS.
The Triumph Street Triple RS is the advanced version of the Street Triple S. One of the features that makes the Street Triple RS differ from its standard model is the addition of a more powerful engine that delivers more torque and power, the other is the addition of various features like- Quickshifter, 5 Riding Modes (Sport, Road, Rain, Rider and Track), Matt silver painted aluminium rear subframe, Body-coloured belly pan and pillion seat cowl (pillion seat also supplied) and a much Lower chain guard.
The new Street Tripple RS is a real adrenaline pumper that will sure to give out supercharged performance on the road and track alike. The Tripple RS is endowed with a very rigid and powerful - Aluminium beam twin spar frame.
Triple Performance
The Street Triple RS is an absolute performer. The 765cc Liquid-cooled, 12 valve, DOHC, in-line 3-cylinder engine never fails to show its magic. The 3-cylinder engine produces an enormous power of 121.2bhp (90.4 kW) @ 11700rpm and a peak torque of 77Nm @ 10800rpm. The Triple RS produces more bhp and torque when compared with the Tripple S model. The Street Triple is very aggressive and its power is very formidable and may seem intimidating for a rookie, but seems substantial and necessary for the one who tames it.
Chassis, Suspension & Braking
The suspension duties of the Tripple RS is done with Showa 41mm upside down big piston forks (BPF) with 115mm front wheel travel on the front while the rear suspension work is done with Ohlins STX40 fully-adjustable piggyback reservoir RSU with a 131mm rear wheel travel. The braking system of the Tripple RS is done with Twin 310mm floating discs, Brembo M50 4-piston radial monobloc calipers with switchable ABS technology. While the rear braking system of the bike comes with Single 220mm fixed disc, Brembo single piston sliding caliper with switchable ABS. The Street Triple RS is very aggressive on roads and the braking system is good enough to tame it with the very effective braking system. The entire weight of the Street Triple comes at 166 kg.
