Bonneville T120 is the latest avatar in Bonneville range. This retro classic comes under the Modern Classic breed of motorcycles. It happened to be the same Bonneville from outside and it has many changes from the mechanical side. Bonneville combines modern performance in the 1200cc engine to make it as the ultimate modern classic.
T120 uses 1200cc high torque, parallel twin engine fed by authentic twin throttle bodies. The engine delivers a massive torque of 105 Nm @ low 3100 rpm and maximum power of 80 PS @ 6500 rpm. The new 1200cc engine produces much more power lower down and across whole rev range with 50% more power at 4500 rpm. Engine is mated with a 6-speed gearbox and has 270 degree firing interval for linear power delivery. The engineers have maintained the iconic and authentic looks from the legendary 60’s Bonneville. With help of pea-shooter type exhaust, the T120 delivers the true sound of a British Twin. Not only that fuel economy of this machine is improved to 13% better than previous one.
The design details and features of the new T120 is inspired from the legendary 59 Bonneville. The sculpted fuel tank, lights, clocks and the iconic Bonneville silhouette are fine examples for that. Meanwhile, this vehicle doesn’t lacks any advanced features like ABS system, traction control, torque assist clutch, engine immobilizer and ride-by-wire system is used. Ride-by-wire system comes up with two selectable mode options like ‘road and rain’. Other cosmetic components in T120 are factory fitted heat grips, traditional twin clocks, front headlamp with DRLs, rear LED lighting and under seat USB charging socket.
Triumph has also introduced 160 high quality stylish accessories for the T120 motorcycles, to customize and create unique and special motorcycles according to the choice of customers. T120 is available in Jet Black, Cinder Red, Cranberry Red Aluminium Silver and Jet Black Pure White range of paint jobs.

First Impression Review
The Bonneville series has always stood as an icon of the modern classic motorcycles. The vintage-inspired classic motorcycles that been made taking inspiration from the late 80s and 90s relive in the Bonneville with a refreshed modern look and aesthetics.
Much of the heritage and culture of motorcycle riding has been embodied in these motorcycles. The T120 is one among the one from the series that takes much attention.
The simple and elegant casual motorcycle look with a touch of retro-inspired styling. A blend of a very powerful engine with a plethora of modern technologies like ABS system, traction control, torque assist clutch, engine immobilizer and the ride-by-wire system that comes up with two selectable mode options like ‘road and rain'make up the new range of T120.
The 1200cc Liquid cooled, 8 valves, SOHC, 270° crank angle parallel-twin engine pumps up a maximum power of 80 PS (59 kW) @ 6550 rpm and a maximum torque of 105 Nm @ 3100 rpm. The engine is very responsive and refined to give good riding performance and cruising capabilities. The big engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
The T120 comes with a very modern Tubular steel cradle chassis along with a twin-sided, tubular steel swing arm. The front suspension of the T120 is done with KYB 41mm cartidge forks with a travel of 120mm, while the rear suspension is done with KYB twin shocks with adjustable preload and have a wheel travel of 120mm. The front brakes are done with twin 310mm discs with Nissin 2-piston floating calipers while the rear brakes are done with Single 255mm disc, Nissin 2-piston floating caliper. Both the brakes are equipped with ABS system for enhanced braking power at higher speeds.
