Bajaj Discover 125 is the first offering from Bajaj in the Discover badge. It sits on a 124cc engine. This bike was renowned for its trade mark fuel efficiency. One of the notable feature of this bike is that it comes in six spoke alloy wheels and a patented “Exhaust-TEC”.
The engine delivers a maximum power of 11 Ps @ 8000 rpm and a peak torque of 10.8 Nm @ 5500 rpm. Engine is meshed with a 5-speed gearbox. The bike is built with a semi-double cradle frame, which is adopted from the elder sibling, Pulsar 150. The suspension system comprises of a telescopic fork with 130mm travel at the front and twinshock Nitrox filled rear shock with 110mm travel. It features a 200mm disc brake at the front and 130mm drum brake at the rear.
The Discover 125 is claims to have a mileage around 100kmpl. It can also hit a top speed of 100kmph with least vibrations. This bike is available in 4 different paint jobs with good quality graphics. It is considered to be one of the most fuel efficient and affordable day to day commuter.

Engine
The Discover 125 uses a 124.6 cc Single cylinder, 2-valve, DTS-i engine that produces 11 ps of power @ 8000 RPM and a 10.8 Nm torque @ 5500 RPM. The Discover 125 sports a new DTS-i engine that delivers more performance than normal 100cc bikes without compromising on mileage.
The engine provides enough performance on cities and on traffic and ensures good mileage. The better mileage makes it a good bike for normal commutes and occasional rides.
Chassis, Suspension and Braking
The Discover 125 comes with a Semi-double cradle as its chassis. The suspension duties of this bike are done with Telescopic, 130 mm fork travel at the front and a Twinshocks, Nitrox(Gas filled) 110 mm rear wheel travel as its rear suspension.
The braking system of the Discover 125 comes with 200 mm Disc at the front and a 130 mm Drum at the rear. The Discover 125 has a ground clearance of 165 mm and comes with a very light weight of 120.5 kg.
