Talking about the Hornet, it will most likely feature a fully digital instrument console showcasing speed, trip meter, fuel meter and the current time. The Honda CB Hornet 160R will come powered a 162.71cc engine with 14.5hp and 14.61Nm of peak torque on offer. Mated to a 5-speed gearbox, it is the same motor that also does duty on the Unicorn 160. The CB Hornet bike also gets the bikemaker's Honda Eco Technology (HET) that allows it to deliver not only improved fuel-efficiency, but also sporty performance. Moving on to design, the motorcycle gets a mono head-lamp, digital instrument panel, muscular fuel tank, alloy wheels, and LED tail-lamp.

Also, there might be 3 variants to the bike which will have single disc brake, dual disc brakes and CBS respectively. It will rival the entire 160cc line-up of the country including Suzuki Gixxer, TVS Apache RTR and the Yamaha FZS-FI. Out of these, Apache RTR will be its toughest competition in terms of performance and features.
In the Indian market, along with the features, the deciding factor of a bike's success remains its price. We expect Honda to price CB Hornet 160R in between 80,000 to 90,000. As per the latest offering Honda CB Hornet 160R, the bookings for the bike have started and soon we will see the motorcycle running on our streets.
