India is getting ready to welcome 2015 with a pack of new bikes in the Two-Wheeler segment. Major companies have announced the launch of their upcoming bikes to hit the Indian roads in the 2015 time span. Here is a list of top 5 upcoming bikes in the 300cc segment to be launched in 2015 Indian bike market.
BAJAJ PULSAR 400SS
The much awaited Pulsar 400SS (Super Support) from Bajaj has announced it's launch by the mid of 2015 in India. The bike is to be launched with a price tag of 1.8 lakhs. Promising features of the bike includes a compact wheelbase with a radical styling. A powerful 373cc engine equips this machine to give maximum output. Although the model comes in with a default braking system, the ABS variant is also expected to be launched with a slightly higher price range.
BAJAJ PULSAR 400CS
Bajaj reveals the all new Pulsar 400CS (Cruiser Sport) variant among the Pulsar series of bikes to be launched by the end of 2015. Expected to be launched in the market with a price tag of 2 lakhs, this bike uses a triple-spark technology with a 375cc engine which is similar to that of the KTM Duke 390. The features as announced will consist of a Dual lighting system in a single head lamp, both HID and LED lamps in the headlights. It also comes in with a two-all digital instrument cluster showing the rev counter and the fuel tank information on the top and bottom respectively.
BENELLI BN 302
The DSK Motowheels and the Italian manufacturer Benelli joined together to introduce a new range of bikes into the Indian bike market. It is estimated that the company may launch a set of seven bikes to the Indian two-wheeler segment. The BENELLI BN 302 is one among the seven to be launched in India. Equipped with a Twin-Cylinder 300cc engine, the bike offers a maximum output of 36.2bhp power at 11,500rpm. A torque of 2.75kgm in about 9000rpm is the output of this bike. The company quotes the bike among one of the most affordable bikes in its segment. The BN 302 uses an up and down suspension system for a smoother ride. The build and design element of the bike makes it much larger than its rivals. The BENELLI BN 302 is expected to be launched in the early 2015 with a price quoted at 2.75 lakhs.
HONDA CBR 300R
Honda plans to launch the all new variant of its CBR range of sports bike, the Honda CBR300R in India. The company has announced its launch in the late 2014 but yet there had not been any updates. Unlike its brotherly model, the CBR150R and CBR250R, the design and styling of the CBR300R replicates that of its upper models like CBR1000RR. The twin headlight is one such key feature which the bike has taken over from its super sports bike model. With a price tag of 2.10 lakhs, the CBR300R comes with 286cc liquid cooled single-cylinder four stroke engine that gives a maximum power of 30.4bhp. The bike comes in with a six-speed transmission and single 296mm and 220mm in the front and rear respectively. The Honda CBR300R is expected to launch in the early 2015 time period.
MAHINDRA MOJO 300
Mahindra had announced its upcoming bike in the early 2010. the much awaited Mahindra Mojo 300 has now been estimated to launch in the early 2015. The bike equips a powerful 295cc engine with a maximum power of 27bhp at 8000rpm and a maximum torque of 25NM at 6500rpm respectively. The Mojo comes with a four stroke liquid cooled engine and a 320mm/240mm Petal Disc breaks in Front/Rear respectively. The bike comes with a digital speedometer and an analogue tachometer. With an inverted telescopic front suspension and a 120mm rear mono suspension, the company offers a smooth yet swift bike riding experience to its customers. The initial pricing of the bike is quoted at the rate of 1.5 lakhs, which makes itself the most affordable 300cc bike from among its rivals.
