Benelli Tornado 302 India Bookings Started

It is the first full-faired sportsbike from the Italian makers

The bookings for much awaited Benelli Tornado 302 has begun in India. It is the latest offering from the Italian brand, showcased at the Auto Expo 2016. This full faired sports bike is based on the naked variant TNT 300. It joins the Kawasaki Ninja 300 and Yamaha R3 clan by featuring twin-cylinder engine on board. The dealerships across the country have started accepting booking of this bike with a fee of Rs 30,000.

The Tornado 302 uses the same 300cc, in-line two, liquid cooled engine mated to a 6-speed gearbox found in TNT 300. It churns out a maximum power of 26 kW @ 12000 rpm and a peak torque of 27 Nm @ 9000 rpm. The steel trestle made with steel tubes underpins this motorcycle.

The Benelli Tornado is one of the many bikes, which had already sought the attention from its early spy-test running stages. It is expected to be priced in between Rs 3 to 3.5 lakhs. Benelli targets the potential market shares of much popular Kawasaki Ninja 300 in the country.
