Yamaha FZ-FI is the updated version of the standard Yamaha FZ-16 launched back in 2008. It is said to be the first motorcycle to introduce naked street bike segment in India. Following its footsteps, Yamaha introduced FZ-S and FZ-25 in the Indian market. The Fuel Injected version of FZ was launched in 2014 and from the year 2017, Yamaha ceased the production of carburettor version of the FZ. Moreover, the fuel injected FZ gets BS-IV compliant engine. Later, Yamaha upgraded this beauty with AHO headlamps and rest of the bike remains to be same with no changes in the mechanical section. Yamaha has just changed its brand name to Yamaha FZ AHO.

I hate Yamaha FZ Fi v2, as it's always runs on censer as bike should be run on fuels and not on censers. For long drive censer lose connections many times. So I don't trust for long ride. Do not buy Yamaha Fi bikes. As it brake down in middle of journey.

Recently, I purchased Yamaha FZ16 Version 2.0 Red color bike from a Friend which ran 10K. Recently took it on a to and fro 300Km ride to native on NH4 from Blr to DVg and some holy places nearby native.. Fully filled the tank. Maintained the speed btwn 66-80Km/hr, sometimes touched 90Km./hr and to my surprise it gave a Mileage of 49+ km/ltr.. 13.5Ltr=669Km
I always fill normal petrol from Shell or HP, rarely Indian Oil

bike is good. and for no kick start. i wud like to tell dat most of sports bikes dont have kick start at all. in case ur battery is dischrged. a small push can start ur bike. even if u r sitting on bike and move bike with help of ur feet. it can started easily

By Gopal Kumar on 21-01-2015
Worth to have this bike.
Only difference we feel in fzv2 compared to fzv1 is pickup has been reduced sightly to increase mileage. But still feels great.
Mileage is between 45-50km in city.
