The all new Scooty Zest 110 is the latest avatar of all-time fame ladies scooter Scooty launched back in 1993. From the early 90s itself, it happened to be one of the most desired two-wheeler for ladies and it is the largest selling scooter brand in its class. Moreover, it is the first scooter brand to introduce a ladies driving program throughout the country to bring out more ladies into the two-wheeler community. Scooty Zest joined the TVS scooter clan from the year 2014, using the same engine of Wego and Jupiter.
Design and Features
The Scooty Zest 110, like its predecessor looks more compact and petite for the fairer sex. When it comes to the latest generation, it looks more fresh and elegant in its styling and added features. The similar looking front fascia with a face fitted indicators stylish indicators are well placed on the dual-tone front apron of the scooter. The trademark front extended nose has been retained in this model as well. Just below the headlamp case, a daytime LED lamp is well placed on a black casing.
TVS has employed high quality grips and switchgears in this scooter variant. It also gets rear brake lock clamp for safer parking. The backlit instrument console displays speedometer, odometer, fuel-gauge and econometer, which is found in all TVS scooters. Zest features an optional front storage bin, which can be unscrewed and removed according to our convenience. Other utility features are 19-litre underseat storage space and two retractable bag hooks. The underseat space also provides a USB charging socket and LED storage light as well. At the rear part, stylish LED lamp along with sharp rear turn indicators are two good additions. The latest matte series features dual tone saddle cover, textured floor board and silver oak interior panels. It comes in 4 different matte paint jobs. The overall finishing of the scooter is excellent.
The Engine and Performance
The Scooty Zest uses 110c, CVTi, single cylinder, 4-stroke, air cooled engine. Engine is mated with CVT automatic transmission for optimum power delivery. The mill delivers a maximum power of 5.88 KW @ 7500 rpm and a peak torque of 8.4 Nm @ 5500 rpm. The pick and throttle response of this scooter is excellent when compared with other siblings even though both Wego and Jupiter uses the same powertrain. The Zest can cover 25 to 55kmph speed with admirable pace without much effort. It can set a maximum speed of 90kmph without any jerks or wobbles.
The TVS Scooty Zest claims to have a mileage of 50 to 62 kmpl, which is better than some of its rivals in the market. The performance and mileage figures are well suited for Indian standards. It also features 5-litre fuel tank.
Chassis, Suspension and Braking
Scooty Zest 110 is constructed on a lighter frame, as compared with Wego and Jupiter. It weighs less and therefore it is easy to control and maneuver. Upright seating position and the saddle height, both suits well for city rides. The whole scooter weighs 97 kg which is very light as compared with the rivals. It gets telescopic suspension at the front and double rated hydraulic monoshock suspension at the rear. The stopping power of Scooty Zest remains with 110mm drum brake at the front and 130mm drum brake at the rear.
The combination of frame and suspension offers a good balancing rides. Steering and handling of the scooter at higher speeds feels lighter and fun. The 10-inch tubeless tyres at both the ends offers firm grip over the road surface.

TVS introduced the Scooty series as one complete scooter for ladies. Therefore, the whole design structure of the product bears many female oriented elements. Compared with other TVS scooters, it is light and good looking model. In this latest generation, TVS employed many advanced features to this Scooty to make it even more compatible in this modern environment. Altogether, it is one ladies scooter with an affordable pricetag available in the market.

1.Power response is superb. Response Fastly to accelorator.
2.I drove this vehicle in a speed of 85 km/hour, but i did not feel that much speed.
3. Max. Mmlege i got for this in normal drive is 66kmpl.
4.I took only 7 seconds to reach from 0-60 in good condition.
5.The Handling is good.
6 Weight is less and Turning radius is less, that i feel uncomfort.
7.Superb vehicle for ladies.
