TVS Motor recently signed a contract with Bollywood young queen Anushka Sharma as the brand ambassador of TVS Scooty. Scooty has been successful since its launch in 1996. At first it was for both sexes. Later TVS realized the fact that Scooty suited women better. So the company stressed much on Scooty by introducing different ambassadors. This time Anushka in to the line of Sania Mirza and Priti Zinta who were once the messengers of Scooty.
"Anushka Sharma was an immediate choice for the TVS Scooty brand. She is well known for being spunky with her distinctive style and is an icon for young girls in India. She is seen by young women as one who is living her goals of being vivacious, independent and successful. With the introduction of Anushka, one who is shining in her movies at present, it's quiet sure that TVS will boost its sales figure up. "It's almost like 'homecoming' for me.
