First Impression Review
MV Augusta; Brutale 800 a futuristic motorcycle on first look. A very well designed and effective vehicle on two wheels that delivers more efficient performances and is ferociously beautiful. MV Augusta has given a more proportionate and modelled design with a specially sculpted front end to the New Brutale 800. The sculpted front face enhances the reinterpretation of the main stylistic features, such as the elliptical shape of the headlamp. The headlamp is now a Full LED complemented with a three-pipe exhaust shaped for ultimate look and performance.
The Brutale has a timeless design which looks forward to the future. The specially made saddle chassis in light alloy, Headlamps, exhaust and sculptured bodywork claims the spectacular stance of the Brutale 800. MV Augusta has given a trapezoidal tank with a fuel capacity of 16.5 litres to the Brutale 800 which ensures a very good riding range with a single fuel up. The Brutale 800 has a flow of perfect symmetry from an aesthetic point of view, which leaves a mark in colour, footpeg mounts, the ducts and the front headlight supports.
Some of the brand new features on the New Brutale 800 include its double saddle and concealed passenger handles. MBV Augusta has changed the instrument panel with a new handlebar for a new age look. The main characteristics that make the Brutale 7800 are the In-line 3-cylinder engine with counter-rotating crankshaft. The big engine has a power output of 110 hp at 11,500 rpm and a maximum torque, increased by 25% with 83 Nm at 7,600 rpm, with 90% of the value already available at 3,800 rpm.
A well made MVICS (Motor & Vehicle Integrated Control System) technology with 8-level traction control. A superior and well made Composite steel trellis and aluminium plate frame for high torsional rigidity. The suspension duties are performed with Upside-down adjustable 43 mm fork at the front with a Racing-type radial front calliper. While the rear suspension duties are performed with a very strong Single-sided swingarm with adjustable rear monoshock. The braking of the Brutale 800 is done with Double floating disc with Ø 320 mm disc calliper at the front while the rear brakes are done with Brembo radial-type, with 4 pistons with single disc. Bosch 9 Plus ABS braking system with RLM is used for effective braking. The Brutale 800 is a very powerful package with a lightweight of just 175 Kg.
