First showcased at EICMA 2015, MV Agusta has launched its naked bike beauty; Brutale 800 in India today on 17th July 2017. The motorcycle has a 798 cc 3-cylinder, 4 strokes, 12 valves, DOHC engine and it churns out 109 HP @ 11500 rpm and 83 NM @ 7600 rpm. The mill consists of a 6-speed gearbox and the top speed of the bike is 237 kmph.
The design of this motorcycle is similar to its elder sibling Brutale 1090 and the new Brutale 800 comes with full LED elliptical headlamp, three-pipe exhaust, and concealed passenger handles. The motorcycle also has a digital instrument cluster, ride by wire system and slipper clutch along with Electronically Assisted Shift and an 8 level traction control system in its sleeve.
An ALS steel tubular trellis frame crowns the Brutale 800 and the motorcycle is employed with a Marzocchi USD telescopic hydraulic fork at the front with 125mm travel and a rear mono suspension with 124mm travel. A 320mm twin-disc at the front and 220mm single disc at the rear is provided for efficient breaking with three-level ABS technology added with Pirelli Diablo Rosso III tyres.
The Italian bike maker has been offering the F3 800 for a while in India and now the Brutale 800 will also find a space among the MV Agusta's stable offered in the country. The Brutale 800 has been priced INR 15.59 lakh and will be sold in India by Semi-Knocked Down (SKD) line, the company has already received nine bookings and the motorcycle will be delivered from August 17 onwards. When launched, Brutale 800 will lock horns with rivals like Kawasaki Z900 and Triumph Street Triple S.
