Brutale, the naked bikes from MV Augusta that redefined the concept of naked motorcycles hold much valour that any kind of naked bike in the history of motorcycling. The Brutale 1090RR has all the bells and whistles to be a super monster naked bike. MV Augusta has clearly defined the naked appearance of this Brutale with absolute symmetry that makes pure aggression on roads with is ultimate road presence and sheer power.
The Brutale 1090RR has an In-line four, four-stroke engine with two maximum power configurations: 144 hp (106 kW) at 10,300 rpm and 158 hp (116.5 kW) at 11,900 rpm. The big engine is wedded with adjustable 8-level traction control and ABS for ultimate braking power. The engine is refined to give out superpower at all rev ranges and deliver as much output one can expect from a very aggressive sports bike. MV Augusta has managed to give a top speed of this Bruatle to of 265.0 km/h (164.5 mph).
This big naked monster is held in a Modular frame with tubular steel trellis section and aluminium plates offering high torsional stiffness. For better rigidity and strength a single-sided swingarm with adjustable shock absorber are used as the rear suspension. When it comes to front suspension, 50 mm USD forks are used.
The braking of the Brutale 1090RR is done with Double floating disc with Ø 320 mm radial callipers at the front while the rear section comes with Single steel disc with Ø 210 mm. Advanced Bosch 9 Plus with Race Mode ABS system and RLM technology is used for effective stopping power. The overall weight of the Brutale 1090RR is 183 kg.
