Emerged from the artistic and retro-futuristic design concepts with a spark of careful and advanced engineering, the Ducati Diavel Diesel is a combined effort of the Creative Director of Diesel Licenses, Andrea Rosso, and Ducati Design. The post-apocalyptic with a "Never Look Back" design statement was the final outcome of this legendary partnership that gave birth to a very limited edition post-apocalyptic and retro-futuristic styling motorcycle that leaves the reflection of future and past at the same time.



What makes the Diavel Diesel special is its limited availability. The Ducati Diavel Diesel is limited to only 666 units and each Diavel Diesel comes with a designed plate on the frame bearing its progressive number sold across the world.



Mechanically, Ducati hasn't changed much from the standard Diavel edition. And notable changes of the bike happens to be in the cosmetic department. Diavel Diesel features hand-brushed steel superstructures with visible welds and rivets, making it unique and timeless. Well designed genuine leather seat and black Zircotec ceramic coated silencers are some of the finest examples of craftsmanship and skill.

Engine

The world-renowned 1198.4cc, Testastretta 11-degree, L-Twin cylinder, liquid cooled engine is used in the Ducati Diesel Diavel. This massive engine produces a maximum power of 162 bhp and peak torque of 130.5 Nm and comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

Chassis, Suspension and Braking

Diavel Diesel comes constructed around with a strong tubular steel trellis frame. The Diavel comes with Marzocchi fully adjustable 50 mm USD fork with DLC coating at the front and a Fully adjustable Sachs rear shock with progressive linkage, Remote spring preload adjustment, Single-sided aluminium swingarm at the rear for its suspension. The braking of the Diavel is done with 320 mm Dual semi-floating discs, Red radial Brembo monobloc 4-piston callipers with Bosch ABS as standard at the front and a 265 mm disc, 2-piston floating calliper, Bosch ABS at the rear.
