The design engineer at Ducati must have has a good dream about a science fiction motorcycle to build up a powerful and monstrous beauty like this, whatever it may fathom, the Diavel Carbon comes packs with a very muscular build up with a very enormously powered engine under its belly.

Engine

The Diavel Carbon packs a very powerful 1198.4cc Testastretta 11° L-Twin, 4 Desmodromically actuated valves per cylinder, liquid cooled engine. The enormously big engine produces a maximum power of 152 hp @ 9,000 rpm and a 123 Nm torque @ 8,000 rpm. The Carbon makes use of Electronic fuel injection as its fuel injection system with elliptical throttle bodies and comes fully ride-by-wire controlled.



Chassis, Suspension & Braking

A Tubular steel Trellis frame with Dark Chrome paint forms the chassis of the new Diavel Carbon. Ducati has redesigned the seat of the new Divale to make it easily accessible for all kind of riders and the new riding position gives more control with all the advantages of a cruiser. The front brakes of the new Diavel Carbon make use of two 320 mm semi-floating discs, radially attached Brembo Monobloc 4-piston callipers with ABS as standard equipment at the rear and a 265mm disc, 2-piston floating calliper ABS at the rear. The 120/70 ZR 17 Pirelli Diablo Rosso II tyres for the rear and a 240/45 ZR17 Pirelli Diablo Rosso II tyres form the rear of this ultimate cruiser.



The Diavel Carbon comes at a dry weight of 205kg. What makes the Diavel Carbon easy to manage and handle with the overall weight and enormous engine power and torque is the innovative electronic Riding Modes along with the incorporation of leading technologies like Ride-by-Wire (RbW) and Ducati Traction Control (DTC).The riding modes have a variable setting with a matched levels of DTC settings to make the Diavel ideal for all type of riding terrains and styles.
