Launching soon in to the 250cc two wheeler segment is the all new Benelli TNT 25. The successor of the TNT 250 from the company, this tiny power motorbike is expected to create a handful of surprises to the people. Design and styling of the motorcycle goes hand in hand with that of the KTM Duke 200. A similar V shaped head lights and side fairings including the rear and front cowls look to have similar style of that of the Duke. The motorcycle making its appearance in the street fighter variant of vehicle, is a perfect entry level naked motorbike variant too. A well designed seating and riding position of the motorcycle helps to maintain rigid riding experience for both rider and passenger. Enhancing the overall look of the motorcycle is its bright red frame portion which is exposed physically. The equally significant control system of the motorcycle comes in with a 249cc, Single cylinder, 4-stroke, 4-valve, Liquid-cooled, DOHC with Balancer Shaft engine. With an overall capacity to deliver a maximum power of 26.5 HP at the rate of 9000 rpm and a net torque of 21 Nm at around 7000 rpm is the total volume of power and performance ratio rendered by the motorcycle. Incorporated to the engine of the vehicle is a six-speed manual transmission system with an easy gear shift from one to next. Rave counts of the engine can thus be increased with the easy going shift pattern of the gearbox and a maximum speed limit of 120 kmph can be gained. Balance and air damping of the motorcycle is reduced with the all new front 110mm Telescopic Forks and rear 120mm Telescopic Coil Spring suspension system. Braking system of the motorcycle is installed with a front 280mm Disc, 4-piston caliper and a rear 240mm Disc, 2-piston caliper to reduce the effect of hard and sudden braking. An overall fuel tank capacity of 16.5 litres is made available by the company, mileage thus earned from reduced consumption of fuel from the control system is upto 38-45 kmpl.

First Impression Review
The Benelli has been around the corner for some time and it seems the general public is a little hesitant to find charms to ride one of there Italian motorcycles. To give the public a taste of what a Benelli motorcycle will look and ride like, the company has showcased an entry-level motorcycle, TNT 25 in the country. AT first look, the TNT 25 may look like KTM Duke 200 here and there, but the looks of this naked bike also have unique features to be a member of the TNT series. The V-shaped head lights, unique side fairing gives the bike an appearance of a street fighter naked motorcycle. A very well-designed seat and upright riding position ensure that the TNT 25 is equally enjoyable for the rider as well as pillion on long rides.
Engine
The motorcycle comes with a 249cc, Single cylinder, 4-stroke, 4-valve, Liquid-cooled, DOHC engine with Balancer Shaft technology. This small capacity engine has the capacity to deliver a maximum power of 26.5 HP @ 9000 rpm and a maximum torque of 21 Nm @ 7000 rpm. The motorcycle is mated to a six-speed manual transmission system. The engine of the TNT 25 is tuned to make long rides a very comfortable affair and this bike will suit riders of all ages and will also be a boon for noobs who are new to riding a motorcycle.
Chassis, Suspension and Braking
The TNT 25 comes with a Steel trellis frame. The bike has
a well Balanced air damping of the motorcycle with the all-new 110mm Telescopic Forks at the front and a 120mm Telescopic Coil Spring suspension system at the rear. The braking system of the motorcycle is done with a 280mm Disc, 4-piston calliper at the front and a rear 240mm Disc, 2-piston calliper at the rear.
Final Words
The TNT 25 best suits beginner rides as well as veterans. The small 250cc engine may feel inadequate for some, but Benelli has made the engine to be very smooth and responsive, giving the rider a motivation to find the sweet spot of this simple and lightweight motorcycle. Moreover, the upright riding position and the very comfortable footpegs ensure that the rider, as well as pillion, is very comfortable on long rides and short rides.
