The 2015 Benelli BN 251 is one of the stunningly designed two wheeler in the 250cc bike segment. The bike is equipped with a 249.22cc In line 2 cylinders, 4-stroke, liquid cooled, 4 valves for cylinder double overhead camshaft producing a maximum power of 18 kW (24,5 Cv) at the rate of 9000 rpm and 21,0 Nm (2,14 kgm) at the rate of 7000 rpm of net torque. A six-speed transmission system raves the motorcycle quickly through the rider-friendly gear shifting pattern. A maximum of 110 mph is the overall speed claimed by the company. Fuel tank is designed to hold a storage capacity of about 16 litres. An aluminium cast tubular steel trellis combines the frame of the bike helping it to hold the control system within the bike tight. Balance and stability of the BN 251 is maintained with the assistance of a front Ø 41 mm upside-down forks shock and a rear swing arm with central rear shock absorber with extension hydraulic brake suspension system. The front and rear tyre is configured with 110/70-ZR17 in and 140/60-ZR17 in size, the aluminium alloy wheels are assisted with a front Steel disk ø280 mm with 4 pistons caliper and rear Single disc ø240 mm with double piston caliper braking system.
