Aprilia RSV4 RF

The RSV4 RF is a limited edition flagship sport bike from Aprilia. The RSV4 models have two variant, RSV4 Factory and RSV4 R. It was in 2016 that the company has started to produce the RSV4RR and limited edition RSV4 RF globally. Despite being a small company by global standards, the RSV4 owned Aprilia a respectable place among the automobile world, as it came with the most advanced and most powerful bike that engineering and design elements. Aprilia has made this to the most compact full size sports bike in the market. The bike has a redesigned front faring that has be made to make a distinct look and appearance that showcase the fury and power that comes with the bike. This limited edition variant is the much refined and track oriented version of the RSV4 RR. Engine

The RSV4 RF comes with a massive 999.6 cc engine that churns out a maximum power output of 201 bhp @ 13,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 115 Nm @ 10,500 rpm. The massive engine is mated to 6-speed cassette type gearbox. Aprilia has made a work around with the limited edition model and this can be felt in the additional refinement the special edition has over the previous track variant. Aprilia has redesigned the engine to be more efficient and powerful and is also 2.5 kg lighter than its predecessor.



Chassis, Suspension and Braking

The RSV4 RF is specially known for its innovative aluminium double rail frame, this rigid frame forms the backbone of this superb sports bike. The chassis is designed to give excellent centeralization of mass and thereby provides maximum stability and control to the rider.



The suspension system of this beast comes with Ohlins fork with TIN surface treatment with Adjustable spring preload and hydraulic compression at the front with rebound damping and an Ohlins Racing monoshock, fully adjustable, spring preload, wheelbase and hydraulic compression and rebound damping at the rear. The Suspension setup makes sure that this Aprilia is all game for a burning some rubber in track race with utmost stability and control.


A heavy duty 320mm dual stainless steel disc with Brembo M430 monobloc radial callipers are used at the front and a 220mm rear disc with two piston Brembo callipers comes at the rear and forms the braking system. This ABS braking system makes sure that the massive power and torque figures of this sports bike is controlled and stabilized at the required times to give total control to the rider. The Aprilia RSV RF comes with a very lightweight of 180 kg.
