The Aprilia RSV4 Factory APRC ABS is one of the most advanced machines forms of Aprilia sports bike. The RSV is a very good example of the design and engineering marvel of Italian designers and engineers. The bodywork and the graphics of this Aprilia is made to make it look like a very raw powered machine and the aerodynamics, fine lines and ergonomics confirms the sporty stance and visual aesthetics of this ultimate sportsbike.
The RSV4 Factory APRC ABS is powered by a 999.6 cc longitudinal 65° V-4 cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid cooling system, double overhead camshafts (DOHC), four valves per cylinder engine that has the power to produce a maximum of 184 HP (135.3 kW) at 12,500 rpm and a max torque of 117 Nm at 10,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The ignition system used on the bike is a Magneti Marelli digital electronic ignition system integrated into engine control system, with one spark plug per cylinder and “stick-coil”-type coils.
The RSV4 Factory APRC ABS uses a Twin-spar aluminium frame, with castings and pressings. Envisaged adjustments: - headstock position and rake - engine height - swingarm pin height Adjustable Öhlins steering damper. The suspension setup of the bike is done with Öhlins upside-down Racing fork, Ø43 mm stanchions with a wheel travel of 120 mm at the front, while the rear suspension setup is done with Double, braced aluminium swingarm; Öhlins Racing mono-shock absorber with completely adjustable piggy-back in. The braking of the bike is done with Dual 320-mm diameter floating stainless steel disc with lightweight stainless steel rotor at the front braking system while the rear braking system is done with 220-mm diameter disc; new Brembo calliper with two Æ32 mm isolated pistons with Sintered pads. Aprilia has given 18.5 litres tank to the RSV4 Factory APRC ABS and the overall weight of this sports bike comes at 181 kg.
