i had used CBZ XTREME 4 14 months then i think that to buy a zmr and i sold my xtreme and booked 4 karizma ZMR black . Hero honda r not giving it on perfet time . I have booked my ZMR on 5/7/11 till this october 13 th i did not get they are simpiy sending white ZMR youngsters more like black , blue , red ,yellow
still also i love hero honda
buying a 220 is good which gives 40 above mileage and it is around Rs 80000 . But this Rs 80000 is only 4 1year but ZMR cost 1,11,650 and it gives 45 above mileage .and ZMR will be with us for year........s . Hero honda bikes are lasting for years

first of all have you ride zmr if no then go and check that
and if yes than i think something was going wrong on that particular piece...
i booked my KARIZMA ZMR very soon....
R15 is far better than p220 & ZMR,Look sporty,Great Acceleration. what should you need gripping of tier is very good.there is only one thing which i agree is his stooping ability. and if you this about mileage than it is not for you looser.......
I've got the bike 3 months back n already finished 6000 kms on it.
Karizma is always the Best n the new one is also the same no other bike is comparable coz i've been to many long trips continuously making 650kms in a single day riding comfort is kickass n the engine has got much power like ever before...This byk is Awesome .
n karizmaR n karizmaZmr , we dont hav to compare both coz they are from same mother ;)
Coming to head light matter , it may look bad for u but u jus check it out standing a 2 mts infront of the bike It is really sexy !

1.KARIZMA ZMR:
PROS:
GUD ENGINE, GUD STYLE(COLOR, LED, DIGITAL CONSOLE), PGMFI (INCREASES PERFORMANCE AND FUEL EFF.), GREAT POWER TO CLIMB (GUD PULLING POWER), STABILITY, COMFORT, EASY CORNERING, GUD PICK UP, BETTER FUEL EFF. (35 TO 45 KPL), A BIKE THAT YOU CAN KEEP FOR MORE THAN 10YRS (ALL DEPENDS ON HOW TO MAINTAIN IT).
CONS:
HIGH PRICE, THE SAME ENGINE (MAY ADDED SOME TWEAKS), TOP SPEED ONLY AROUND 120 KPH, NO KICK START,LOW POWERD HEAD LAMPS, WHILE BIKE TRIPS DOWN THE FULL FARING GETS DAMAGED00.
OVERALL ITS GUD BIKE TO DRIVE IN OUR WAY....
2. PULSAR 220
PROS:
SMARTER PICK UP THAN ZMR, VISUALLY GUD BACK LIGHTED SWITHCHES, PROJECTOR HEAD LAMPS, HIGHER TOP SPEED, HIGH POWER BATTERY THAN ZMR, GUD FOR RACING. COSTS 20K LESS THAN ZMR.
CONS:
SHORT ENGINE LIFE SPAN ( AROUND 5 YRS OR 40,000 KM), VIBRATIONS AT TOP SPEEDS, STRUGGLES AT CORNERS, HEAVY STEERING, POOR MILEAGE, NOT RECOMMENDED IF U WANNA KEEP THIS BIKE FOR A LONG PERIOD.

It was really nice to read your post, regarding the performance of the bikes you all have mentioned, you should also know the technical specs of each bike and make.
Pulsar --> Pure marketing bike (power+ mileage). performance is always speculated.
Honda --> A consistant bike that offers good riding experince. Performance is good until you dont push the bike to the limit.
Yamaha --> A pure performance oriented bike, lacks in mileage, you can push the bike to the limit and still see that the bike will not shudder.
These are the three view of the company that makes the bike.
in our point of view we need to analyse what kind of bike suits us rather than fight which is good or great.
comparing a 4 stroke milege with a 2 stroke bike is stupidity, why dont you compare Karizma with R15, i bet you will change your opinion.
I previously owned a 2 stroke Max 100, the mileage was good i used to travel from bangalore to Mysore the bike did well and returned a milage of 49 Kms per ltr.
Now i own Yamaha R15 and i do the same travelling(Bangalore-Mysore and back) every weekend. the bike returns me a good milage of 43-45, my journey is around 2 and half hours one way, considering the leaving the city the time taken by me is pretty fast. the bike does very well (no car over takes me untill they are in real hurry :) ).
I had borrowed pulsar from my friends for the same journey, the bike managed to do the trip however was bit rough, thats all, returned a milage of 60 (pulsar 150 CC).
My friend once came along with me on his Hero honda splendour, and it returned a milage of 65, but the bike was slow and we got bored.
It depends on the rider to ride the bike, all bikes are capable of making 600 Km everyday if you can understand the riding technics of the bike.
However i prefer Yamaha R15 for fast riding and performance, milage i would prefer pulsar, for ride quality i would prefer either yamaha or Honda.
Honda has scope for improvement, they are very slow in the their R&D or probably their marketing statregies do not allow them to release new bike for indian roads.
It is seen that Sales for R15 is greater that Karizma ZMR.

me and my friends started a road trip from hyderabad to vijayawada distance is approx 600kms up and down and the bikes are pulsar 180cc digital meter one, pulsar 200cc, honda aviator[mine], yamaha fz, cbz xtreme and unicorn new model
both the bajaj bikes are dead at suryapet itself and we at to push 200cc one to start it. yamaha had gone well but milege made us cry, unicorn had overheated and we let ity cool in vijayawada, while mine and xtreme are still in performance which suprised us. from that day my friends who teased me for buying a moped started respecting me
base line-hamara bajaj is actually a reverse engineered technology of europeans while dak dak go[hero honda] is still best bike manufacturer of india.
notice buddies out of 10bikes in india 6 are of hero honda and honda

guys have u gone mad? GROW up guys.....no dout kzm is awesome bike but old kzm R is better....n value for money but i think pulsar 220 21bhp n mind blowing milage of 48km/lt is out standind...this is called value for money...

You have no idea about Pulsar's Fuel Economy.
DTS-i Technology offers the best mileage in its class.
Pulsar 150 gives somewhere between 55~60 KMPL and P180 gives 45~50 KMPL. My 180 gives 52KMPL Solid irrespective of the speed i drive.
I bet no other 150 and above segment brands will return such great fuel efficiency without compromising power.

Bajaj withdraw Fi from pulsar 220, Same way its a big flop in Honda stunner Fi and Hero honda Glamour FI.
I am not rich enough that i can take a chance of spending Rs 1,00,000 on a mc whos engine is on a trail basis and i dont want to be a part of that trial. My old karizma was stolen a month ago and i am sure i will go for Karizma R whenever i'll get a insurance claims.
