Aprilia SR 150 is said to be a revolutionary product on the Indian roads. It is the first 150cc, performance scooter in India. The entire scooter culture was re-written with the launch of this model in August 2016. Now the Italian makers has launched the upgraded version of SR 150, call it as SR 150 Race. The new model has launched with a price tag of Rs 70,288 (ex-showroom Mumbai).
This limited edition scooter is inspired from the 2016 Aprilia's MotoGP bike RS-GP. It is decorated with some fresh stickers and graphics, adopted from the GP model. The 14-inch wheels of this new scooter uses red tone finish along with the rear shock absorber spring. The scooter comes in a new Maze Grey body colour, on which red and green body graphics are used.
The Race version too is powered by the same 154.8cc, single cylinder engine, which delivers 10.4 bhp of power and 11.5Nm of torque. The upgraded scooter features a fine tuned suspension for better acceleration and it also provides an add-on accessory called the race boom exhaust which also enhances the performance this new SR 150. Other than this no special additions are made to this by the makers. SR 150 Race will costs more than SR 150 by Rs. 3088/ and delivery is expected to be from March 2017.
