TVS Plans to Relaunch Victor in 2013

India's fourth largest motorcycle consortium, TVS Motor Company plans to revamp its highly successful two wheeler, the Victor in August 2013. As the company plans to launch a two wheeler in every 3 months, the upgraded Victor certainly occupies a position in the tabulation of the brand's list.



The reason why TVS thinks to relaunch its much sold out bike is the complete absence of a commuter bike priced between Rs.50,000 and Rs.60,000 from the company.



"We were completely absent in the Rs 50,000 to Rs 60,000 motorcycles which is the large segment in the motorcycle industry. We are actually making our presence felt after TVS Victor left the market with launch of Phoenix. From now on there will be five product launches by now and end of 2013 calendar year," said TVS Motor Company Chairman, Venu Srinivasan.

The official press release clues that an advanced programmed ignition system will be mateded in the TVS Victor to ensure the best performance in combustion and to ensure the best in its class acceleration and fuel economy. The motorcycle is expected to pump out more fuel efficiency even in city drives.

The production work of the Victor is expected to be commenced in June 2013.
