Variants Unveiled
The video shows two versions of the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450, each with unique design elements and features for different types of riders.
High-End Variant: Red and Gold
One version has a striking red and gold color scheme, with a matching red fender and golden tail section. It includes a round TFT instrument cluster similar to the one on the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, indicating advanced features and a detailed display.
Budget Variant: Silverish-Blue
The second version has a simpler silverish-blue paint job and a semi-digital instrument cluster with a small round Tripper navigation module, similar to the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650. This setup focuses on essential information and basic navigation.
Engine and Performance
Both versions are powered by the new liquid-cooled Sherpa 450 engine with a displacement of 452cc. Exact power and torque figures are not yet confirmed, but there might be slight tuning differences compared to the Himalayan.
Design and Features
Leaked images show that the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 borrows several design elements from the Himalayan, including LED headlamps and indicators. The bike will have telescopic front forks, a preload monoshock rear suspension, alloy wheels with road-focused tires, a flat handlebar, and a unique riding position designed for city riding.
Launch and Expectations
Royal Enfield has announced the global launch date for the Guerrilla 450 on July 17, 2024. Enthusiasts are eagerly waiting to see this new model, which is expected to be lighter in weight.
