Suzuki introduced the GSX-R125 in EICMA 2016. It is a 4-stroke, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine motorcycle with a 6-speed gear box. This new motorcycle is made to revolutionise the lightweight class and the Japanese bike manufacturer claims that the GSX-R125 is a very light weight and best performing motorcycle in its class and will showcase best power-to-weight ratio and acceleration plus nimble handling and great fuel economy in the 125 class.
GSX-R125 features a lower seat height, a multi-function LCD instrument, vertically stacked LED headlights and a key-less, one-push starting system. The GSX-R125 have aggressive sporty look characteristics as it has the racing DNA of the GSX series.
Suzuki says that the objective of making the GSX-R125 is to make a motorcycle with maximum combustion efficiency, optimal balance of the sporty engine characteristics and fuel economy.
The GSX-R125 carriers aluminium wheels with Dunlop D102 tires, the bike has a ground clearance of 160mm and wheel base of 1300mm. A compact two-channel ABS is provided in the bike and comes with a fuel tank capacity of 11.0L while the engine oil capacity is 1.5L. This 125cc sports bike from Suzuki is available in Metallic Triton Blue, Solid Black 50% Gloss and Brilliant White and the overall kerb mass of the bike is 134kg.
