Kawasaki Motor Sports is now ready to rip the Indian roads down with more style. The Japanese manufacturer has built a model beyond belief, known as the Kawasaki Ninja H2, which was recently launched abroad. And now, it's the time for India.
The much anticipated Indian launch of the new Kawasaki Ninja H2 is scheduled for April 3rd, 2015 at the infamous Buddh International Circuit in Delhi.
The bike which emphasizes more on the design and styling elements would be the most expensive motorcycle to be sold in India at an estimated price of Rs 30 lakhs. The stunning and attention-grabbing design with its edgy tweaks would definitely increase the demand for the products of Kawasaki with the launch of the H2 in India.
The bike looks much like a twin brother of the Kawasaki Ninja H2R, which is the racing version of the H2, though the only marked differences between the two are the headlamp, turn indicators, tail lamp and rear view mirrors which appear exclusively on the H2 to make it a legal bike.
On the mechanical side of the things, the bike comes installed with a high-performance 998cc 4-stroke liquid-cooled in-line four engine. The Kawasaki Ninja H2 brags of being the main creation supercharged road legitimate motor, which can deliver a maximum power of 200PS and a peak torque of 113.5Nm at 10500rpm.
Moreover, for the racing maniacs, there is an optional Ram Air that does the increase in power to a road-ripping 210PS.
Looking on tho the aesthetic side of the components, the bike doesn't come with a choice of colour schemes, but there are traces of a lime green that appear on the trellis frame and other aerodynamic components as well.
The console of the Ninja H2 comes equipped with the Kawasaki Traction Control System (KTRC) with three different modes of which two are suited for maximum acceleration and performance, while one mode is built to help in rainy conditions. Another system added to the controls of the bike is the Kawasaki launch Control Mode (KLCM) which allows the rider to launch the bike from a null value with the throttle held wide open. The Ninja also gets the Ohlins electronic steering damper.
Though more details on the bike have not yet been officially released, sources from Kawasaki Motor Sports have hinted that India could get an exclusive new bike with the same name. The booking period for the bike has begun in India and the company claims that 5 units of the Ninja H2 have already been sold out. The booking price for the bike starts at Rs 10 lakh while the original on-road price of the bike could total up around to Rs 30 lakhs.
The Ninja H2 made its debut at the 2014 EICMA Motorcycle Show which was held at Milan in Italy.
