HYOSUNG GD250R expected to be launched by July 2015

Hyosung updates the launch of its all new 250cc bike in India by July 2015. The GD250R is the racing model of the GD250N street fighter which was revealed earlier. The bike does match in design and styling of Hyosung's early contribution to the 250cc segment the GT250R.



The bike comes in with a 249cc DOHC, 4 – valve liquid cooled engine. The engine derives a maximum power of 27.6BHP at the rate of 9500 rpm and 24.17 NM of torque at the rate of 7000 rpm. It shares almost the same specifications of the GD250N street fighter model. The six-speed transmission gives it a quick shift of gears and speed. Although the bike raves quickly and gains high speed within limited time, the rider is made safe with 300mm/230mm Petal Disc breaks in front/rear respectively. The instrument console includes an all digital meter information for fuel gauge, speedometer, tachometer and odometer.



The Hyosung GD250R is expected to be launched in a price tag of 2 lakhs. The bike is hence a tough competitor among its other rivals such as the Honda CBR250R, KTM RC200, Kawasaki Ninja 250SL and Hero HX250R. Pricing of the bike is slightly higher than other of its kind but the company promises a better performance from the 27.6bhp power output of the bike.
