Kawasaki is on the way to add a couple of motorcycles more to its Indian garage. Reportedly, the ER-6n and the Versys 1000 are the machines to take place in the line-up. Recently, the company had launched the Ninja 1000, and Z1000 in the country.
The Versys 1000 is basically an adventure motorcycle which is suitable to any road condition. Be it desert, mud, highway, or terrain, the Versys 1000 can take you wherever you want to go. It comes with a massive 1043cc, Liquid-cooled, 4-stroke In-Line Four engine generating a tremendous power of 86.8 kW {118 PS} / 9,000 rpm and a stunning torque of 102 Nm {10.4 kgfm} / 7,700 rpm. It is mated with a 6-speed manual transmission.
On the other hand, the ER-6n is a fully loaded mid-sized naked-street motorcycle. In fact, it's a naked version of the Ninja 650R. It is equipped with a 649cc, Liquid-cooled, 4-stroke Parallel Twin engine which delivers a peak power of 53 kW {72.1 PS} / 8,500 rpm and a peak torque of 64 N.m {6.5 kgf.m} / 7,000 rpm. Its heart is coupled with a 6-speed transmission.
The Versys 1000 is likely to be priced around Rs. 10 lakhs, while the ER-6n around Rs. 5 lakhs.
