Japanese motorcycle manufacturer, Honda, wrapped off the cover of its much anticipated 2014 CBR 250R. The all new retouched motorcycle will come with newly designed dual headlight and body parts. The 2014 CBR 250R will be officially showcased for the first time at the coming Tokyo Motor Show in November.
There had been rumours that Honda would replace the CBR 250R with the upcoming CBR 300R. And with this, the rumours have been waved off.
The new design looks very similar to the CBR 500R, that launched earlier, and the upcoming CBR 300R. Especially, the twin headlight has been taken from these two machines. Along with it newly designed split seat, LED tail lamp, new graphics, and new chrome finished exhaust are very much impressive.
The 2014 CBR 250R will be powered by the same 249.6cc, Liquid cooled, 4 stroke, DOHC 4 Valve, SI engine, that delivers a peak power of 25 bhp @ 8500 rpm and a peak torque of 22.9 Nm @ 7000 rpm. It's coupled with a 6-speed gear.
The new CBR 250R is likely to hit Indian market in the first half of 2014. Price tags are unclear. Still, we can expect a hike of at least Rs.5000 for all models.
May hit India in the first half of 2014.
