Japanese premium sports bike manufacturer, the ultimate maker of Ninja machines, Kawasaki Motors has just uploaded a 31 seconds lasting video cut teasing an all new machine. The teased motorcycle in the video is expected to be the 2014 Z1000.
In the video Kawasaki says nothing but "CALL OF THE WILD - Coming up November 5th". Earlier, the firm had launched the 2014 edition of Z1000SX. So it's just assumable that the next is the updated Z streetfighter model.
The upcoming machine is likely to come with the same engine rather than few alterations to increase the performance and fuel efficiency of it. ABS is expected to be there as optional. Selectable riding modes, traction control, redesigned chassis, monobloc brakes, and refreshed exhaust and airbox are the further stuffs which may get stuck on with the motorbike. Meanwhile, the 2014 Z1000 would also have few changes with the shade.
The current Z1000 model is powered by a 1043cc, Four-stroke, liquid-cooled, DOHC, four valves per cylinder, inline-four engine, which can spell out a fantabulous power of 101.5 kW @ 9,600 rpm and a peak torque of 110 N-m @ 7,800 rpm. It's coupled with a 6-speed, return.
