Vespa to Launch Deluxe VX this Month

Italian automobile manufacturer Piaggio's wholly subsidiary scooter firm, Vespa is likely to roll out an all new scooter, the Deluxe VX, in Indian roads this month itself. The Deluxe VX is expected to be a well equipped scooter that will stand as a solution for the drawbacks of the LX 125. Even though Vespa could get famed in the name of a trendy scooter, the LX 125, the company severely failed to meet the expected customers targeted.



The upcoming Deluxe VX is sourced to have a front disc brake and additional features which are not seen in the Vespa LX 125. A digital meter console is expected to see in the scooter. Moreover, it might be offered in more colors.



Even if the Deluxe VX gets coupled with stunning features, pricing would be hard for the firm. Because, Vespa has already struggled with the LX 125's pricing. Once the scooter was tagged ex-showroom price around Rs. 70,000. Realizing the apathy of scooter lovers on the scooter at a whooping price tag, Vespa was obligated to cut down the price of the LX 125 by up to Rs. 7000. The Vespa Deluxe VX is expected to be equipped with the same specifications of the LX 125. That means, the scooter will be powered by the same heart, 125cc, 4 Stroke, 3 Valve, Single Cylinder, Air Cooled engine used in the LX 125. The engine delivers maximum power of 10.06 PS @ 7500 RPM and maximum torque of 10.6 Nm@6000 RPM. Its engine is coupled with Continuous Variable Transmission, which ensures the most pleasurable trip in this class.

The VX is expected to have the same suspension seen in the LX 125. If so it will add further beauty to ride. The LX 125 is wedded with Arm with coil spring and dual effect shock absorber at front and Coil spring and dual effect shock absorber at rear.
