Hopefully, big times will be back once again. The royal motorcycle manufacturer of Indian bi-wheeler industry, Royal Enfield teases the Bullet 500 on their official website. While the news gets spread over the ears of Bullet maniacs, some elements are added to reason their joy. As the name, the Bullet 500 returns after a decade, Royal Enfield will offer this machine in a completely renovated form that is well packed to compete with present generation machines. Fuelling more joy to the track, the upcoming Bullet 500 is supposed to be priced around Rs. 1,45,000, that is Rs. 20,000 lesser than the Classic 500. The bike is rumoured to be available only in Forest Green color.
British originated motorcycle brand, Royal Enfield mounted up the first generation Bullet 500 in 22 Ps Cast Iron Engine. The Cast Iron Engine is known as the all time iconic engine of Royal Enfield. Unfortunately the iconic engine had to make way for the 24 Ps AVL Engine with the introduction of the Machismo 500. At present, the 500cc machines of RE are powered by 27.5 Ps UCE engine, that feature two spark plugs and electronic fuel injection.
While the things roll just onto the way of Royal Enfield more and more new arrivals get awaited for RE maniacs. The all new Bullet 500 is expected to be run by the same engine that pulls the Classic 500, the Thunderbird 500, the Bullet 500 EFI, the Battle Green, the Chrome and the Desert Storm.
That is the Bullet 500 Forest Green will also be equipped with the same 499cc, Single Cylinder, 4 stroke, Twinspark, Air cooled engine. It will be producing maximum power of 27.2 bhp @ 5250 rpm and maximum torque of 41.3 Nm @ 4000 rpm. It is wedded with a 5 speed Constant Mesh and Digital Electronic Ignition system.
Once the name Bullet 500 touches again in the Indian soil it would be one more milestone for the Chennai based motorcycle manufacturer. The major reason RE plans to launch the Bullet 500 is its affordable pricing. It is rumoured that the company is planning to tag a price amount around Rs. 1.45 lakh for the Bullet 500 Forest Green. Bullet is certainly a dream machine of every average Indian rider. When it comes to the 500cc class, the stuffs turn more than something dreaming.
