MV Agusta Introduces The Limited Edition RVS#1

The Italian superbike manufacturer MV Agusta has taken the wraps off their new dragster, the RVS #1. It is the first product of newly formed Limited Run edition of MV Agusta, devoted for limited edition super bikes.



The moniker RVS stands for "Reparto Veicoli Speciali" which means, special vehicle operations in Italia. Earlier, the company has released a YouTube clip by teasing this new offering, and now they have introduced this unique motorcycle to the world.



The RVS #1 is the finest motorcycle that MV Agusta has ever produced. It has been developed in their new studio with the joint effort of CRC (Castiglioni Research Center, a new division dedicated to special bikes) and MV Agusta design head. Moreover, all the RVS #1 are completely hand assembled. The 800cc, 3 cylinder engine gets a refined touch so as to improve the efficiency and performance of the engine. It also meets the strict Euro-IV emission standards. The MV Agusta has used a high grade, lightweight steel framework to reduce the weight as well as to enhance its dynamic performance. In addition to that, it uses new aviation grade aluminum lateral plates, helps in achieving a robust body.





Other attractive features are; titanium plate mounting on the fuel tank, hand stitched honeycomb saddle, race spec Titanium exhaust kit, CRC designed dashboard, footpeg, engine protectors and Braking's Sunstar Batfly's braking system. It uses customized machined Kineo spoke wheels mounted with Pirelli MT 60 RS tires to enhance the bike's power and control. The LED round headlamp is the first thing that catches your eye. These are adaptive headlights, which tends to switch on and off individual LED lights according to the speed and lean angle of the bike. It also provides 2 LED lamps on the right side of the motorcycle near to the right knee position for enhanced illumination for the rider.



This unique motorcycle is limited to just 95 hand-built units, whereas the company is yet to disclose the official launch date and pricing. However, it is expected to be priced above the Dragster 800 and Brutale 800.
