How many of you love touring? Obviously, everyone. How it would be on a motorcycle which never compromises in comfort, feature, power and look? Yep! Honda has built up a massive product for all migratory riders. The one and only beast of its own kind, the Gold Wing F6B. The motorcycle is available in 2 versions- Gold Wing F6B and Gold Wing F6B Deluxe.
The Gold Wing F6B is considered to be the bike with the biggest engine in this class. A 1832cc liquid-cooled horizontally opposed six-cylinder engine powers the motorcycle. The engine is further powered by 118 bhp and 169.5 Nm torque. Honda thinks that a tourer bike is not known for its power but for its comfort that can keep the rider as long as possible sticked with the motorcycle. And hence designed a stress-free sketch on which long drives are fabulously done. It is mated with a Five-speed including Overdrive transmission.
The two wheeler features a next generation facility like computer-controlled digital with 3-D mapping. In order to gather maximum mileage PGM-Fi induction has been used. Suspensions have great duties in providing greater comforts, especially in long drives. The front suspension, 45mm cartridge fork with anti-dive system; 4.8 inches trave and rear suspension, Pro Arm single-side swingarm with Pro-Link single shock with remote-controlled spring preload adjustment never provide even a single jerk. Better brakes are always helpful for a racer. Its dual full-floating 296mm discs with CBS three-piston calipers at front and single ventilated 316mm disc with CBS three-piston caliper at rear fulfil a fearless drive.
Moreover, the Gold Wing F6B is packed with several unique features. The integrated luggage with lockable twin saddlebags gives plenty of room to the rider to store and to carry whatever he needs with him. The 6- cylinder engine makes its more power for the bike weighs lighter. Its low profile windshield enrols a better weather protection.
The mileage of the Gold Wing is 15 kmph. Its top speed is 241 kmph. The limited edition, the Gold Wing F6B Deluxe comes with a center stand, passenger backrest, self-cancelling turn signals, and heated grips, which are not seen in the standard variant.
The motorcycle is likely to be priced around Rs. 15 lakh for Indian customers. However, there is no official news on its launch in India. Hopefully, we shall wait for the launch of Gold Wing in the world's second largest two wheeler market.
