TVS to Launch Performance Scooters?

Rumors still make run two wheeler consortiums. It does matter only to benefit company's promotion just as an advertisement does. This time rumors are engaged to Chennai based motorcycle manufacturer, TVS Motors.



Sources ensure that TVS is on the way to launch a new performance scooter aiming scooter maniacs and youngsters. And its test drives and final procedures are being enveloped. The scooter rumored is just alike the existing scooters in the non-Indian scooter market. The existing scooters are RockZ, Neo X3i and Tormax 150. All three models are not available in the Indian market and these bikes are exported to Indonesia and its neighbor countries. All three scooters aren't in the tabulation of commuter segment scooter but performance scooter. Since Indians are more passionate on commuter motorcycles which provide better mileage, TVS hasn't yet launched these kinds of machines in the local market.



The Neo X3i is powered by a 109.6 cc single cylinder 4 stroke air cooled engine, which is mated to provide maximum power of 8.5 bhp @ 7500 rpm and maximum torque of 8.5 nm @ 5500 rpm. At the same time, the RockZ is mated with 124.5cc single cylinder 4 stroke air cooled engine. Peak power of 9.8 bhp @ 7500 rpm and 9.8 nm @ 5500 rpm is gorgeous for a scooter. Meanwhile the strongest among three, 148.75 cc engined, the Tormax 150 is enriched with 13.2 bhp @ 8000 rpm and enormous torque of 12.5 nm @ 5500 rpm. All scooters are installed with front disk brake.

All three models are huge hits in the non-Indian market wherever they are launched. Let's wait whether TVs will unveil it for the Indian customers and if it is so whether it would be a hit or not.
