SRK Rides Thunderbird 500 in Yash Raj Film

Even though the delay of launching the all new 2012 Thunderbird 500 continues, the motorcycle will take its very first look in Sharukh-Yash Chopra untitled film. It is not clear whether Sharukh or Yash has signed any contract with Royal Enfield regarding the promotion of the Thunderbird 500, which is yet to be launched in the Indian two wheeler market. Recently there were some murmurs concerning the launch of the Thunderbird 500 in the month of October.



If SRK is in a deal with Royal Enfield, he would be the next Bollywood hero branding a motorcycle consortium in the list along with Salman Khan (Suzuki), Aamir Khan (Mahindra), Hrithik Roshan (Hero Honda), Ranbir Kapoor (Hero Motocorp) and Akshay Kumar (Honda).



In this movie which is under the banner of Yash Raj Films, SRK plays the lead role of an Army Officer, Samar. The cinema is co-starred by Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. And shooting procedures are getting progressed in Ladakh. Moreover, the original scores will be done by Indian Music veteran and Academy winner, A.R. Rahman. This is the first movie he is involved in after the blockbuster jingles in Ranbir starred, Rock Star. The movie is scheduled to shake screens in this Diwali.



The Thunderbird 500 comes with a Single Cylinder, 4 Stroke, OHV, SI Engine, Air cooled, and Keihin Electronic Fuel Injection engine. Vastly displaced 499cc engine is powered by maximum power of 27.2 bhp @ 5250 rpm and maximum torque of 413 Nm @ 4000 rpm. Its 5 speed transmission is mated perfectly to provide better mileage.
