2012 Kawasaki Ninja 650R Launched

Baja Auto launched the much anticipated 2012 Kawasaki Ninja 650R. Obviously, the next generation motorcycle by means of looks, performance and driveability. The bike looks extremely aggressive and sporty. Japanese motorcycle hunk, Kawasaki has pioneered few alterations on the new Ninja 650R. The two wheeler comes with a 649cc Liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, Parallel Twin Cylinder engine which is mated with peak power of 72 ps @ 8500 Rpm and ample torque of 66 Nm @ 7000 Rpm.



"After setting up a wholly owned subsidiary in India, we have chalked bigger plans for the performance aficionados of the country. We are pleased to present the stylish Ninja 650R for the Indian performance bikers. With the launch of this bike, we together with Bajaj Probiking are set to redefine the premium sports bike market in India" said Managing Director of India Kawasaki Motors, Mr. Yoshiro Segawa.



The 2012 650R is installed of a bunch of features. MotoGP display, daylight running, under-slung exhaust, triple petal disc brakes, Offset laydown single-shock with adjustable preload rear suspension and sportly placed front indicators are few of the list.



The Delhi ex-showroom price of Ninja 650R is tagged at Rs. 4.57 lakh. The motorcycle is available in its trademark color Green and Black. Bajaj has opened up Bajaj Probiking showrooms in 30 cities where Ninja series superbikes are retailed.



The major competitors of Ninja 650 will be Italian premium two wheeler conglomerate, Ducatis Monster 795 and South Korean luxury auto consortium, Hyosungs GT650R.
