Bajaj who is been facing tough competitions from all corners of the market is trying their best to stay in hunt by introducing new and innovative ideas in their products and marketing strategies.
As a part of this, Bajaj launched a streetfighter version of their premium motorcycle Pulsar 220 in India. It carried the same styling of the best-looking erstwhile Pulsar 200 albeit with a bigger and more powerful heart.
The idea of Bajaj was to lure more people to graduate to higher capacity biking by providing a lower price tag for the product. However, this step from Bajaj, although luring, did not pay off as much as they would have liked.
Indian buyers of this segment prefer paying 3k more to buy the Pulsar 220 DTSi F. This has forced the company to stop the production of this product. Bajaj will be hoping the new Pulsar 200 NS will bring them good luck.
