The new Mojo UT still holds the spirit of the 295cc engine of the Mojo, but with a lesser price tag by cutting down some extra features
After a long haul, Mahindra seems to have worked up with their flagship motorcycle; Mojo to make way for a younger sibling, if recently leaked images and news over the internet are taken into account. The new Mojo UT, as its called, is a stripped down version of the Mojo and comes bares with only the essentials.
Mahindra has taken down various elements from the Mojo to make it a budget-friendly motorcycle, citing that the bigger price tag that comes with the original Mojo worked only for a few and ultimately ended up having poor sales performance in the market.
Mahindra has taken down the fuel injection in the new UT and is equipped with a carburetor right now. The dual exhaust that came with the mojo is also seemed missing in this new version. Other features like LED DRL, Pirelli Diablo Rosso II tyres and USD forks are ditched to make this a very affordable motorcycle. Mahindra has worked with the seat style and the new Mojo UT gets a revised pillion seat for pillion riders.

The 295cc, liquid-cooled engine version of the Mojo produced a maximum of 27 Bhp at 8,000 rpm and 30 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm. But, it is reported that new Mojo UT will undergo some performance changes to make way for the carburettor to work effectively.
Mahindra has also ditched the gold accents and gets blacked out swingarm and chassis for a mean looking appearance. The Mojo Ut is reported to be available only in two colour variants – Red and Blue.
With many features cut and stripping down to the essentials, Mahindra is expected to have a significant price cut for the new Mojo UT and we can expect that it comes in between the range of Rs. 1.3-1.5 lakhs.
