Manufactured by partnering up with TVS Motors, the BMW 310R was expected to be launched first in India and then in Europe. The exports of this purely indian made motorcycle are high on numbers and the company has exported more than 4,500 units of the G310R in the last quarter, but unfortunately, the company is still silent about why this bike is not yet released in India.

The BMW G310R is a 313 cc single cylinder motorcycle backed by 34 bhp at 9,500 rpm and 28 Nm peak torque at 7,500 rpm. The engine is water cooled and is mated to a 6-speed transmission. The braking of the bike is done with 300mm disc brakes accompanied by four piston callipers in the front and 240mm disc brakes with single piston callipers at the rear. The forks in the front section of the bike are set upside down and the motorcycle comes with a rear mono-shock suspension. The motorcycle possesses sharp dynamics and excellent fuel efficiency. This light weight motorcycle uses a short seat arrangement in the rear, and the entire dynamic of the bike gives it a motorsport look. The G310R has an 11-liter fuel tank capacity and weighs 158 kgs.
