Suzuki acknowledged GST by reducing prices to its two-wheelers
As the GST taxes are announced by the government three days ago, Suzuki acknowledged this move by passing on GST tax benefits to its two-wheeler customers. By the new GST norms, Suzuki two wheelers will now attract a tax slab of 28 per cent, as opposed to 30 percent previously, and this tax slab is the reason that made the company to reduce the price in the two-wheeler segment.
The automobile industry is enjoying the benefits of having a unified Indian market as GST came into effect and there will be fewer price variations across nations. Consumer and premium segment vehicles will witness a 2% decrease in taxes as per GST norms and Suzuki welcomed this new norm by providing customers the benefit in the form of reduced prices.
