Hyderabad Police Force To Use Regal Raptor's Police Motorcycles Soon

It is for the first time a Police department is using a premium motorcycle with advanced amenities in the country.

Last year, Fab Regal Raptor Motorcycles announced their new offering for the Indian market, the Raptor's Police Legacy. This particular model was built exclusively for various Police departments. Now adding more flavours to it, the Hyderabad Police force of the Telangana government is set to roll the very first set of Raptor Police motorcycles in the country.



Raptor's Police Legacy is set to be a perfect police motorcycle with all essential facilities like; GPS tracker, 6 on-board sensors, Wireless PA, Powerful Flashers, CCTV Views, First Aid, Fire Extinguisher, First-aid kit and Public Address System are some of it. The model shares the same engine and specifications with their own DD350E-9B model.

The motorcycle is powered by a 320cc, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, twin cylinder engine with fuel injection. It delivers a maximum power of 22.8 bhp @ 8500 rpm and a peak torque of 22 Nm @ 6500 rpm. This particular police motorcycle clocks a top speed of 130kmph and it can cruise from 0 to 60kmph in 3.5 seconds. Engine is mated to a 5-speed constant mesh gearbox for optimum power transmission. This cruiser weighs 180kgs and it features a larger 14-litre fuel tank. Telescopic Hydraulic shock absorbers are used at both the ends for suspension duties. Single 300mm front and 240mm rear disc brakes completes the braking system of the bike.

Regal Raptor Motorcycles are originally a US based company, now owned by a Chinese firm which had joined their hands with Fabulous and Beyond Motors of Hyderabad to start their presence in India. As of now, Hyderabad shop acts as the head of sales and service for the Indian region. Soon, they will expand their dealerships in all major metro cities across the country. To them, India is good for business, as they plans to export their products to the neighbouring countries like Srilanka, Nepal, Pakistan, Oman and few Middle-Eastern countries.
