According to the leaks spread over the internet, it has been posted that the quarter liter motorcycle of Kawasaki, the Ninja 250R, may get relaunched in India anytime soon. The Ninja 250R, which is the best selling motorcycle of all time of the Japanese firm, was a successful race in India. Unfortunately, the motorbike was replaced by the entry of its bigger and modern sibling, the Ninja 300.
Moreover, the Ninja 250R will be cheaper than before. When it was discontinued from India, the bi-wheeler tagged Rs. 2.7 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). So, it is expected to go below at least Rs. 2.5 lakh.
The Ninja 250R comes with a 249cc, Liquid cooled, 4 stroke parallel twin engine. It generates a max power of 32 bhp @ 11,000 rpm and 22 Nm @ 9500 rpm. Its engine is coupled with a 6 speed transmission. Further, equipped with disc brakes at both wheels, the machine ensures maximum confidence to the rider. Meanwhile, telescopic link suspension at front and Bottom link Uni-trak with gas charged shock and 5way adjustable preload suspension at rear do the works to make sure a comfy ride.
