SBT Asianet Auto Expo 2013 Kochi: Report

SBT Asianet Auto Expo 2013 flagged off in style on 17th February 2013, at Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium Ground, Kaloor, Kochi. The auto event that commenced on 15th February 2013 was a first kind of experience to Kochiites and who all visited the expo. The show was coordinated in association with MRF and Kerala Automobile Dealers Association. Parked with a venue full of auto and moto machines, the event became a blooming and a lively hood for many maniacs. The program also displayed several automotive brands and innovative technologies from engineering college students.



The Auto Expo was inaugurated by Kochi range IG, K. Padmakumar on Friday. The inauguration function was also delighted by the presence of Sankaranarayanan, CEO of Asianet Satellite Communication Ltd., John Paul, MD of Popular Vehicles Service Ltd., Renjith Paul, PRO of SBT and Dileep Kumar, Chief Manager.

The entrance to the SBT Asianet Auto Expo 2013, placed at Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium Ground, Kaloor, Kochi, which extremely first of its kind in God's own country.


Automobile enthusiasts eagerly loitering around machines. As far as the Auto Expo is concerned, Mahindra XUV 5OO, Polaris ATVs and Harley Davidson motorcycles had the most fans starring at.


While MRF F1300 was showcased at the Asianet Auto Expo 2013. Since the event was charted in association with MRF, the role of the firm was huge in the event.


American snowmobiles, ATV, and neighborhood electric vehicles manufacturer, Polaris Industries was the another major highlight of the event. As the All Terrain Vehicles are yet to get famed in Indian roads, the machines of Polaris grabbed a lot of attention from all class of maniacs.


The last word for leisure motorcycling and the only phrase for ultra premium cruising, Harley Davidson exposed three of its models - Superlow, Iron 883 and Fat Bob.


This customized all new Chevy Cruze had a lot to tell to the enthusiasts on its unique, strange and stunning appearance. Painted out in Black and White shade, the 1999 cc engined machine grabbed tons of eyes. Its dual LED headlamp and 7 spoke black alloy wheel picked a dazing spot for this American.


"We started it all. We are Ford", quotes the English automobile firm. Displaying the cult four-wheeled machine, the 1963 model Fairlane 500, Ford bagged many attentions to its camp.


If anyone ask what was the show stoper of the expo, I can immediatly reply that it was the stunt show preformed on the all new Tata Safari Storme. That was a real storm making all the ground to a desert of smoke, it must be acknowledged stunning.


Passenger trucks also got their place to be displayed at the show. Indian major dictators in this segment, Tata Motors, Eicher, Bharat Benz and Mahindra screened their new products.
