Nashik's Leap into the Future of Electric Mobility
Nashik-based Jitendra EV Tech, a rising star in the electric vehicle industry, recently introduced the Primo electric scooter. This revolutionary model has piqued interest with its one-of-a-kind transparent bodywork, a first in the electric scooter market. Although this transparent version is not for sale just yet, the Primo is hitting the market in four classic shades: Black, Silver, Red, and White, with a price tag of ₹79,999 (ex-showroom).
A Peek into the Primo's Core Features
The Primo is powered by a robust 60V, 26Ah battery, delivering a commendable 65 km range on a full charge. Its top speed reaches 52 kmph, accompanied by a 7-degree climbing capability, making it adept at handling urban landscapes. It sports a blend of telescopic and hydraulic forks with spring coils for smooth riding. As of now, the Primo is available in a single variant, but Jitendra EV plans to expand the line with the Primo S and Primo Plus, offering ranges of 90 km and 130 km, respectively, in the coming year.
Technological Edge and Safety Features
The Primo is not just about looks; it's packed with features like multiple riding modes (economy, high speed, and boost), a digital instrument panel, LED lighting, USB charging, and safety indicators like a side-stand alert and thermal propagation warning. For added convenience, it includes reverse assist. The scooter rides on durable 90/90 10-inch tubeless tyres and ensures safety with a front disc brake and a rear drum brake system.
Warranty and Market Competition
Jitendra EV backs the Primo with a three-year vehicle warranty and a two-year battery warranty, extendable by another year. This new entrant is set to rival models like the Kinetic Green Zulu in its segment, marking a significant step in the burgeoning electric vehicle market in India.
