Honda has launched its new futuristic automatic scooter, Grazia in India. The new Grazia which the Honda calls an "advanced urban scooter" is a modern form of the Activa made especially to cater to the needs of the youth in the country. The Grazia has all the grace of a modern urban scooter; the fine lines, LED headlamp, sportier look and sculpted design confirm its 'advanced urban scooter' image.
The Grazia is powered by the same 124.9 cc fan-cooled, 4-stroke engine that fire up the Honda Active 125. The small motor has the capacity to produce a maximum power of 8.52 bhp @6500 rpm and a peak torque of 10.54 Nm @ 5000 rpm. The scooter uses V–Matic transmission system and Honda claims a top speed of 85 kmph for the Grazia.
An Under Bone frame forms the backbone of the Grazia and gets a Telescopic suspension at the front and a Spring Loaded Hydraulic Type suspension at the rear. Honda has incorporated combined braking system in the Grazia with 130 mm drum brakes at the front, while the front section comes with a 130mm drum variant and a 190mm disc variant. Honda has priced the Grazia STD at an Ex showroom (Delhi) price of Rs. 57,897, while the Grazia Alloy is priced at Rs, 59,827 and the Grazia Dlx comes at Rs. 62269.
